Question: I have an old western digital laptop hard disk from 2010 a 250gb one. Haven’t been using the last (get ready) 5 YEARS, I gave it to my cousin since I bought myself a gaming desktop. So the b*stard put a password on the cranky old hdd and now gave it to me and its staying under my bed forever and I really need it lately for my school projects. I tried with Ultimate Boot CD (I am not an expert btw) and used HDD Erase but couldn’t even get to the erasing part, so If any of you guys can help me remove the password of this hard disk please let me know. I also tried the master password of western digital but it didn’t work, maybe I typed it wrong. So yeah I am in a desperate need for some HDD! And I don’t wanna throw it because the hard disk is in good shape, I have never used it for gaming except office use. I hope someone can help me! It’s a WD2500BEKT.

Answer:Sorry, but Forum rules preclude assistance with circumventing passwords. Completely.
