Question: Is there any solution other than its broken and i need a new one?
im on a laptop using ssd + a 2tb hard rive i bought from amazon like 3-4 years ago
the hard drive was on D: but now theres just C and D is gone. any solutions?
also my laptop takes longer to boot since the drive stopped working if that can help
Answer:If you have a friend with an external drive dock then you could have them check the drive.
You could also use a PC’s internal Sata & Power connector to test with but I prefer testing drives externally. Sata Laptop & Desktop drives use the same connectors thankfully.
