Question: I’m setting up my new pc and realized I’ve been installing everything to the ssd that is drive c and not the hdd that’s drive d. I just wanted to boot from the ssd and i don’t want to start from scratch. Is there a way to swap the default location for everything i install without formatting the drives? Will changing the letter association mess with everything I’ve done so far? Sorry this is my first experience with multiple drives in this setup.
Answer:You cant simply move the programs from your SSD to your HDD.
Usually, in the program installer, you can choose where you install the application, however, even if you install it to the D: drive some data usually gets put on the C: drive.
