Question: Hi,
I have recently bought an HDD – Toshiba x300 6TB. However it is not recognised – my BIOS does not see it.
I have following motherboard Gigabyte x299 ud4 pro.
I have tried updating BIOS (it is now version 7c), I have checked different SATA cable, different SATA slot (I have used working ones from DVD drive). BIOS recognises currently 5 different drives – SSD SATA, SSD m2, HDD SATA by Samsung and Toshiba and Seagate.

I have also tried using different HDD – Seagate Barracuda Pro 4TB, it is also not recognised.
These unrecognised HDDs are brand new. When Toshiba x300 6TB is connected, I can feel it warm after PC usage, even though it is not recognised by BIOS.

Please help me with this issue.
