Question: I m going to be upgrading my computer soon but in the meantime I need a new HDD. My current one is a Toshiba HDD dt01aca050 and my current motherboard is a Ga-78LMT-USB3. Can you recommend something that would be compatible?

500GB or so. Nothing too crazy. I m not planning on keeping it for long but as of now I need a new one. Any price works.

This isn’t the fastest SATA SSD out there but still much faster then any HDD and the price is reasonable imo.
