Question: What’s a good manufacturer and model for a gaming HDD? I’m planning on buying a friend a 8-10TB 7200 RPM HDD, to pair w/ Intel optane cache, on a coffee lake refresh system.
Answer:Why put gamers on a spinning drive? Games should be on an ssd. Get a 1tb ssd for the games that need speed. Older or other games can go on a spinner. I’d avoid optane entirely.
