Question: So for the second time randomly when my PC is on, my hard drive will go undetected but shows up in disk management and asks to create a new partition. I have ran crystaldisk and it says the health status is good. I really don’t understand why it’s happening as it’s a 2 month year old hard drive.
Answer:Try other SATA data/power connectors, and, a different mainboard port…
Beyond that, perhaps the drive is actually faulty.
