Question: I have 2 drives, one hdd and one ssd, Windows is located on my SSD and not HDD. So I just finished doing some cable management and afterwards when i tried booting I was stuck at my Motherboards start up screen. Did some playing around and found that it was my hard drive that was preventing me from booting. When I completely unplugged it, Windows would start perfectly fine. When its plugged in, it would stay stuck on the Motherboards start up screen. I tried using different sata and power cables, plugging it into different ports on the motherboard and still nothing. Any advice on how to fix this?

Answer:Check the connectors on the back of the HDD, you might have damaged them.

Can you access the BIOS witht he HDD plugged in? If so check to see it the drive shows up, if it does then it could something else such as data corruption and its preventing windows from booting.
