Question: I bought a 6TB WD Red Pro to use as an internal data drive in my system. I noticed that instead of the normal 6 or 8 jumper pairs, there is only one pair of jumper pins on the drive. I’m guessing that since the drive is meant for NAS, the options for NAS are set internally by default, leaving only one user configurable option. Searching this site, Google, and elsewhere turns up no mention of these two pins or what they are for. Anyone know?

Answer:Those pins are for factory use.
Connection to your PC is via the standard SATA data and power connections.
There is nothing to configure.
